Arrow Exploration Corp ( (TSE:AXL) ) has provided an update.
Arrow Exploration Corp., the Colombia-focused oil producer listed in London and Toronto, is expanding production from conventional reservoirs across several key basins, including the Llanos and Middle Magdalena Valley. With high working interests and low royalties, the company aims to leverage Brent-linked pricing and underexploited fields such as the Tapir Block to drive growth and returns.
The company reported encouraging well log results from its Icaco-1 exploration well on the Tapir Block in Colombia’s Llanos Basin, where it holds a 50% beneficial interest. The well, drilled on time and under budget, encountered multiple hydrocarbon-bearing intervals, and Arrow plans to production-test three formations, reinforcing the block’s prospectivity after five prior exploration successes that have already yielded 40 development wells.
Management said the Icaco-1 results exceeded expectations and highlighted the hydrocarbon density and repeatable potential of the Tapir Block’s conventional reservoirs. Successful production tests and any subsequent development drilling at Icaco could add further volumes and value, underlining the block’s role as a core growth engine for Arrow and a key source of future shareholder upside.
