Arkle Resources PLC ( (GB:ARK) ) has provided an announcement.
Arkle Resources has highlighted plans by joint venture partner Group Eleven Resources to significantly expand drilling at the Stonepark Zinc Project in County Limerick, Ireland, from around 3,000 metres to about 15,500 metres. Arkle holds a 22.36% stake in Stonepark, an advanced-stage, high-grade zinc-lead deposit adjacent to Glencore’s large Pallas Green project, and sees the increased drilling as a potential catalyst for value creation.
Stonepark comprises five contiguous licences over 148 square kilometres and hosts an inferred mineral resource of 5.1 million tonnes grading 11.3% combined zinc and lead, with the deposit remaining open along and across strike. The planned step-out and follow-up drilling, particularly around the Carrickittle West prospect where previous work has indicated strong mineralisation potential, reinforces Stonepark’s strategic position within one of the world’s most prospective zinc districts and could enhance Arkle’s portfolio alongside its core uranium focus in Namibia.
The most recent analyst rating on (GB:ARK) stock is a Hold with a £0.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Arkle Resources PLC stock, see the GB:ARK Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on GB:ARK Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, GB:ARK is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, widening losses, and ongoing cash burn with shrinking equity). Technicals provide a meaningful offset with price trading above key moving averages and positive MACD, while valuation remains unattractive/unclear due to negative earnings and no stated dividend yield.
