Arkle Resources Pivots to Namibian Uranium as Core Growth Engine

Arkle Resources PLC ( (GB:ARK) ) has issued an announcement.

Arkle Resources has reoriented its strategy around a recent acquisition of four uranium exploration licences in Namibia’s Erongo Region, placing uranium at the centre of its portfolio alongside existing lithium and zinc assets. The licences sit next to major deposits such as Trekkopje, Marenica and Rössing, where prior sampling has confirmed strong surficial and alaskite-hosted uranium anomalies, and the company is fully funded to start geophysical surveys and mapping imminently, with drilling planned for 2026 and a maiden resource target in 2027.

In Botswana, Arkle is advancing three lithium brine prospecting licences over a large area of the Makgadikgadi Salt Pans, where geophysics and sampling indicate an extensive shallow brine system containing lithium and economically significant magnesium that could support direct lithium extraction and a secondary revenue stream. The company is progressing an environmental impact assessment ahead of shallow drilling to quantify lithium grades and brine characteristics, while in Ireland it retains a 22.36% interest in the Stonepark zinc joint venture in Europe’s leading zinc district, where an inferred high-grade resource adjacent to Glencore’s Pallas Green project underpins Arkle’s diversified exposure to future-facing metals.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:ARK) stock is a Hold with a £0.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Arkle Resources PLC stock, see the GB:ARK Stock Forecast page.
