The latest update is out from Arkle Resources PLC ( (GB:ARK) ).
Arkle Resources has highlighted a new drilling phase at the Stonepark Zinc Project in Ireland, operated by partner Group Eleven Resources, where Arkle currently holds just over a 22% stake. Stonepark, adjacent to Glencore’s large Pallas Green zinc project, hosts an inferred resource of 5.1 million tonnes grading 11.3% combined zinc and lead and is considered one of Europe’s most prospective zinc assets.
Group Eleven is mobilising a rig this week for a four-hole, 2,700-metre programme testing zinc-lead zones and potential copper mineralisation at Stonepark and nearby prospects, as part of a broader 15,500-metre drilling plan. Arkle has opted not to fund this specific phase to prioritise capital for its Namibia uranium projects, leading to a small dilution of its Stonepark interest to an estimated 21.38%, but it retains the option to participate in later stages, preserving exposure to potential value creation from any future discoveries.
Spark’s Take on ARK Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, ARK is a Neutral.
The score is held down primarily by weak financial performance (no revenue, widening losses, and ongoing cash burn with shrinking equity). Technicals provide a meaningful offset with price trading above key moving averages and positive MACD, while valuation remains unattractive/unclear due to negative earnings and no stated dividend yield.
