ARK Mines Ltd announces that the Sandy Mitchell project in North Queensland is set to benefit from low-cost and environmentally friendly rare earth processing techniques, according to an expert metallurgical review. The report indicates placer deposits at the site are ideal for simple beneficiation processes, which are significantly less expensive to build and operate than traditional methods. With the potential for high-grade rare earth mineral concentrates, the company looks forward to further defining the deposit’s nature and advancing towards a prefeasibility study in the latter half of 2024.
