ARK Mines Ltd (AU:AHK) has released an update.
ARK Mines Ltd has updated its exploration target for the Sandy Mitchell Rare Earths Project, estimating a range of 1.3 to 1.5 billion tonnes at 1250 to 1490 ppm monazite equivalent, making it potentially one of the largest surface-expressed Placer Rare Earth projects. The target builds on a recent mineral resource estimate and is characterized by shallow mineralization, suggesting low-cost mining and minimal environmental impact. Additionally, the site is rich in heavy minerals, including high-value elements such as monazite, xenotime, zircon, rutile, and ilmenite, promising favorable economics for the project.
