Arizona Lithium Advances Big Sandy Project Amid Legal Hurdles

Arizona Lithium Limited (AU:AZL) has released an update.

Arizona Lithium Limited has successfully collected a 100-tonne lithium sample from its Big Sandy Project in Arizona, with the material now headed to the Lithium Research Centre for process testing. The sample collection is part of an approved drilling program, seeking to expand the known resources in a region that has produced 99.8% battery-grade lithium carbonate. However, the project’s exploration efforts are temporarily on hold due to a legal challenge from the Hualapai Tribe, with a hearing set for 17 September 2024.
