An announcement from Metalicity Limited ( (AU:ARI) ) is now available.
Arika Resources has reported strong March-quarter drilling results from its Yundamindra Gold Project in Western Australia, with final 2025 assays and early 2026 holes at Pennyweight Point confirming continuous, thick and locally high-grade gold mineralisation along strike and at depth. The company says these intercepts, together with ongoing drilling at Pennyweight Point and Landed at Last, provide a solid platform to move the prospect toward a maiden resource estimate.
The explorer also signed a binding deal to acquire the remaining 20% joint venture interest in the Yundamindra and Kookynie projects from Nex Metals, giving it full ownership of both assets and simplifying decision-making. Management argues that 100% control, combined with $4.0 million in cash on hand, will allow Arika to accelerate exploration and development across its highly prospective Western Australian gold portfolio, potentially enhancing its strategic positioning in the junior gold sector.
