Ariana Resources ( (GB:AAU) ) just unveiled an update.
Ariana Resources has advanced feasibility work at its 100%-owned Dokwe Gold Project in Zimbabwe, signing a A$1m Metallurgical Sampling and Testwork agreement with Hongkong Xinhai Mining Services, which will be paid in Ariana CDIs. The deal underpins a 2,370m metallurgical drilling programme, with core to be tested in China under oversight from Independent Metallurgical Operations to optimise processing routes and support compliance with JORC 2012 standards.
The company has mobilised around 40 staff and three drill rigs on site, with metallurgical drilling at Dokwe North and geotechnical drilling at Dokwe Central feeding into an updated pre-feasibility study due this quarter and a definitive feasibility study targeted for early 2027. Supporting studies on water balance, tailings and waste management, plus deployment of the BoxScan core scanning system, aim to refine geological models and de-risk project development based on an existing 1.12Moz JORC resource at a 0.6g/t Au cut-off.
Spark’s Take on AAU Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, AAU is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by weak operating fundamentals (no revenue, recurring losses) and persistent negative operating/free cash flow, which raise sustainability risk. A relatively stronger, low-leverage balance sheet provides some support, while technicals are neutral and valuation looks stretched due to the high P/E and no dividend yield.
