An announcement from Ariana Resources ( (GB:AAU) ) is now available.
Ariana Resources reported a quarter of intensive drilling and project advancement, led by a 31-hole reverse-circulation campaign at the Dokwe Gold Project in Zimbabwe that delivered several high-grade gold intercepts and confirmed the potential to expand near-surface oxide resources beyond the current resource envelope. A follow-on diamond drilling programme is now underway to refine structural models, test depth and strike extensions, and support an updated mineral resource review in the second half of 2026, while work on an updated Pre-Feasibility Study and integration of Xinhai’s technical input seeks to de-risk and accelerate Dokwe’s development.
In Türkiye, Ariana’s associate Zenit Mining Operations produced 4,533 ounces of gold and 10,305 ounces of silver in the first quarter, generating record quarterly revenue amid strong gold prices and continued ramp-up at the Tavşan heap-leach mine. Expanded drilling at Tavşan has exceeded original meterage targets, confirming mineralisation continuity and extensions at the Main and South zones, which is expected to underpin a future resource update and support the mine’s planned eight-year life and Ariana’s broader production-led growth strategy.
Spark’s Take on AAU Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, AAU is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by weak operating fundamentals (no revenue, recurring losses) and persistent negative operating/free cash flow, which raise sustainability risk. A relatively stronger, low-leverage balance sheet provides some support, while technicals are neutral and valuation looks stretched due to the high P/E and no dividend yield.
