The latest update is out from Argyle Resources Corp. ( (TSE:ARGL) ).
Argyle Resources reported results from its 2025 prospecting and sampling campaign at the Saint Gabriel Project in Quebec, where 17 grab samples were collected and analyzed for whole rock geochemistry. The program confirmed consistently high silica grades, with four samples exceeding 99% SiO₂ and a peak value of 99.9% SiO₂ from quartzite near the Lac Rigo Showing, while all assays from the Lac Rigo area surpassed 97% SiO₂. Importantly, newly granted land access allowed Argyle to expand work west of the historical showings, leading to the discovery of a new high-purity silica zone roughly 800 metres west of Lac Rigo, where multiple samples returned between 99.2% and 99.7% SiO₂. Management highlighted that the new western zone is now a priority target for follow-up work to define continuity, lateral extent and overall scale, indicating that Saint Gabriel may host multiple high-quality silica zones and potentially enhancing the project’s strategic value within the high-purity silica sector.
