Argo Investments Lifts Half-Year Profit and Raises Interim Dividend

Argo Investments reported an 11.6% rise in income from operating activities to A$149.9 million and a 7.9% increase in half-year profit to A$130.8 million for the period ended 31 December 2025, compared with the prior corresponding half. The company’s net tangible asset backing per share also improved, with NTA after all costs increasing to A$10.34 and NTA after unrealised tax provision rising to A$8.90, underscoring continued portfolio value growth.

The board declared an interim fully franked dividend of 18.5 cents per share, up from 17.0 cents a year earlier, alongside confirmation that its Dividend Reinvestment Plan and Dividend Substitution Share Plan will operate for this payout. Shares for DRP participants will be sourced on-market while new shares will be issued under the DSSP at the volume-weighted average ex-dividend price over the February–March 2026 pricing period, a structure that balances shareholder income needs with disciplined capital management.
