Argo Blockchain PLC has announced a private placement deal worth approximately £6.5 million with an institutional investor, involving the issuance of 57.8 million ordinary shares and accompanying warrants. The funds raised are earmarked for working capital, general corporate needs, and debt repayment. The transaction includes the potential for these shares and warrants to be admitted to the London Stock Exchange, with expectations for the process to be completed by July 31, 2024.
