The latest announcement is out from Argent Minerals Limited ( (AU:ARD) ).
Argent Minerals has reported a significant new drilling intercept at its Kempfield project, with diamond drillhole AKDD214 confirming broad, shallow silver mineralisation beyond the existing Lode 100 resource boundary. The hole intersected 91.2 metres at 39.5 grams per tonne silver from 8.3 metres depth, including higher-grade zones of 14.1 metres and 29.1 metres at 60.2 grams per tonne, within the same host sequence as the main resource.
The company said the results validate the scale and continuity of the Kempfield system along strike and indicate clear potential to expand the current 23.9 million ounce silver resource in Lode 100, part of the wider 65.8 million ounces at Kempfield. With mineralisation remaining open along strike and at depth, Argent expects the ongoing drilling program to support resource growth and improve mine development flexibility for the project.
