An announcement from Ardiden ( (AU:ADV) ) is now available.
Ardiden has reported new high-grade gold assay results from eight diamond drill holes at the Astoria deposit within its Rouyn Gold Project, including standout intercepts such as 29.15 metres at 4.96 grams per tonne gold and 5.40 metres at 5.09 grams per tonne. These results confirm that the gold mineralisation remains open along strike and at depth, show grades at or above the current resource grade, and support the interpretation of a large, structurally controlled hydrothermal system with potential for significant resource growth.
The company has completed 7,088 metres of a planned 15,000-metre drilling campaign, with broad mineralised halos up to 88.8 metres indicating an extensive and continuous mineralised corridor at Rouyn. Management highlights that the combination of consistent high-grade intersections and wide mineralised envelopes enhances the scale and continuity of the system, underscoring strong potential to expand the mineralised footprint and strengthen Ardiden’s position in the Abitibi gold sector as further results are received.
