ArcWest Exploration Inc ( (TSE:AWX) ) has issued an announcement.

ArcWest Exploration reported 2025 drilling results from its Todd Creek copper-gold project, where partner Freeport-McMoRan funded 4,614 metres of reconnaissance drilling across nine holes under an earn-in agreement. The program tested five target zones along the 13 kilometre Todd Creek Alteration Corridor, intersecting broad intervals of hydrothermal alteration and copper-gold mineralization with pathfinder elements that suggest multiple mineralizing centres.

Key results at the Orange Mountain target include drill holes that show vertical zonation from shallow epithermal-style veins into deeper porphyry-style copper-bearing veins, consistent with a high-level expression of a porphyry copper-gold system that may have alkalic affinities. Another hole at Orange Mountain intersected semi-massive to massive sulfide mineralization beneath a gossan in a previously undrilled area, confirming that copper-gold mineralization extends into untested ground and remains open laterally and at depth.

At the Ice/Fall Creek area, drilling intersected sulfide-rich, quartz-sericite-pyrite altered volcanic rocks adjacent to a modeled resistivity anomaly, supporting the prospectivity of an untested geophysical target despite not reaching the projected downdip extension of high-grade surface mineralization. Overall, the results enhance the geological model for Todd Creek, strengthen the case for a district-scale porphyry-epithermal system, and support continued exploration investment under the Freeport earn-in, which could ultimately reduce ArcWest’s funding burden while advancing the project.
