Arafura Resources ( (AU:ARU) ) has issued an update.
Arafura Rare Earths has secured binding cornerstone equity commitments totaling about A$230 million from Germany’s KfW, on behalf of the German Raw Materials Fund, and Export Finance Australia under the Australian Government’s Critical Minerals Facility. The new investment, priced at A$0.2447 per share subject to shareholder and regulatory approvals, follows a major A$481 million equity raising and a binding A$200 million convertible notes term sheet, lifting total equity raisings and commitments for the Nolans Project to A$911 million.
The funding package underscores the Nolans Project’s strategic role in diversifying global rare earth supply chains and supporting both German industrial needs and Australia’s critical minerals strategy. Together with previously arranged debt financing, the strengthened equity base moves Arafura closer to financial close and a final investment decision, while giving KfW board representation and reinforcing government-backed support that could enhance confidence among customers and other stakeholders.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:ARU) stock is a Hold with a A$0.30 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Arafura Resources stock, see the AU:ARU Stock Forecast page.
