Arafura Aims to Diversify Global Rare Earth Supply

Arafura Resources Limited (AU:ARU) has released an update.

Arafura Rare Earths Limited has signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the Saskatchewan Research Council to advance the global diversification of the rare earth supply chain, crucial for electric vehicles and other clean energy technologies. The collaboration focuses on processing Arafura’s Nolans Project rare earths in Canada, aiming to enhance the production of Dysprosium and Terbium, which are key components of high-performance magnets. This partnership marks a significant step in reducing the reliance on current heavy rare earth supplies and processing from China, positioning Arafura as a strategic player in the market for environmentally responsible and ESG compliant rare earth elements.
