Applied Nutrition reported a strong first half to 31 January 2026, with revenue jumping 57% year-on-year to £74.5m, adjusted EBITDA up 56% to £21.5m and profit before tax up 54% to £20.9m, all ahead of management expectations. The group ended the period with net cash of £26.4m, with lower free cash flow conversion reflecting higher investment, while statutory operating profit rose 80% as earnings per share climbed to 6.2p.

Operationally, the company deepened relationships with UK high street retailers and discounters, secured new customer wins and channels including an out-licensing deal with Morrisons for high-protein foods, and continued international expansion across Europe, Latin America and Asia. It also launched new products such as its 40+ range and a Slush Puppie-branded ABE line, started construction on a new global distribution facility and factory expansion to lift capacity to £300m in revenue, reaffirmed guidance for about £140m of full-year sales despite Middle East shipping disruption, and strengthened its board committees in line with UK governance standards.
