Apollo Minerals Limited has initiated the first modern diamond drilling program in 70 years at its Salanie Gold Project in Gabon, revealing high-grade gold prospects with assays showing up to 429g/t Au. New soil sampling has identified extended target areas and multiple new anomalies, particularly in the Binda and Mikouma locales, with the presence of coarse gold grains hinting at proximal source rocks. The company’s recent findings, including visible gold in quartz veining, suggest that the Salanie Gold Project could be an emerging high-grade gold discovery.
