Apollo Minerals Begins High-Grade Gold Drilling

Apollo Minerals Limited (AU:AON) has released an update.

Apollo Minerals Limited has launched an inaugural drilling operation at the Salanie Gold Project in Gabon, targeting high-grade gold prospects with a history of significant yields, such as visible gold findings and historical mining results including 16g/t Au. The initial diamond drilling program aims to explore around 1,200 meters across three key prospects, which have shown promising surface mineralization and rock samples with grades up to 33g/t Au. The company anticipates the Salanie project, which has not seen modern exploration in 70 years, to reveal multiple high-quality targets.
