Anteros Metals Inc. ( (TSE:ANT) ) has shared an announcement.
Anteros Metals plans a Phase 1 extension drilling program at the Seagull Critical Minerals Project in Ontario, under an addendum to its option agreement with Rift Minerals that lets it proceed at its discretion while Rift remains operator and certain costs can be credited toward potential Phase 2 work. The program, contingent on final design, financing, and field conditions, aims to follow up on sulphide mineralization and a gas-bearing interval intersected in hole RM26-01, using integrated geological and geophysical interpretation and existing drill holes to test deep targets, refine the geometry of the Seagull Intrusion, and manage time, cost, and surface disturbance.
The Phase 1 extension will focus on assessing orthomagmatic sulphide mineralization associated with Ni-Cu-PGE systems at the basal contact of the intrusion and evaluating the geological context of gas encountered at around 877 metres depth. By leveraging historical drill infrastructure and deferring some expenditures toward later phases, Anteros seeks to advance its technical understanding of the Seagull system while controlling exploration risk and capital deployment, with assay results from sulphide-bearing intervals still pending and interpretations described as preliminary.
