Anglo-Eastern Plantations has continued to execute its share buyback programme, repurchasing 2,583 ordinary shares on 30 April at a volume-weighted average price of 1,900.02 pence, with the stock to be held in treasury. Following this transaction, the company has 39,976,272 shares in issue, of which 1,544,243 are in treasury and excluded from voting rights, leaving 38,432,029 voting shares outstanding.

Since the buyback initiative began in early January, AEP has bought back 348,803 shares in total, consolidating its equity base and marginally increasing the proportional holdings and voting power of remaining investors.
