The latest announcement is out from Anglo Eastern Plantations ( (GB:AEP) ).
Anglo-Eastern Plantations Plc announced a delay in the publication of its audited financial results for the year ended 31 December 2024, due to additional time required by its auditor, Forvis Mazars. As a result, the company’s shares are expected to be temporarily suspended from trading starting 1 May 2025 until the audit is completed. Despite the delay, the company reported an expected revenue of $372.6 million and a profit after tax of $67.6 million for 2024, marking a 20% increase from the previous year, driven by higher CPO prices and reduced expenses. However, production of Fresh Fruit Bunches (FFB) and Crude Palm Oil (CPO) declined by 7% and 12%, respectively, due to replanting efforts and adverse weather conditions. The board proposed a final dividend of 51 cents per share, pending shareholder approval.
