Anglo American PLC has announced that as of July 31, 2024, the company’s issued share capital is 1,337,577,913 ordinary shares, all of which are entitled to voting rights as no shares are held in Treasury. Shareholders can use this figure as a basis for reporting changes in their holdings to comply with the UK’s FCA rules. Notably, a significant portion of these shares are held by independent companies from a previous share buyback, who have waived their voting rights.
