Andean Precious Metals ( (TSE:APM) ) has provided an update.

Andean Precious Metals reported a strong start to 2026, with first-quarter gold equivalent production rising 28% year over year to 27,344 ounces, driven largely by higher throughput and a 25% grade improvement at its San Bartolome operation. Production at Golden Queen tracked in line with expectations and improved on the prior-year period, supporting full-year guidance of 100,000 to 114,000 gold equivalent ounces.

Management highlighted that the first quarter, typically the weakest due to seasonal factors, exceeded expectations and underscored the effectiveness of the company’s ore sourcing strategy. With approximately $167 million in cash and cash equivalents at the end of 2025 and benefiting from strong gold and silver prices, Andean enters the rest of 2026 with solid financial flexibility and is positioned for another robust quarter when it reports full financial results in May.

The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:APM) stock is a Buy with a C$11.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Andean Precious Metals stock, see the TSE:APM Stock Forecast page.

The score is driven primarily by strong underlying financial performance (profitability and balance sheet strength) and supportive bullish technical trends. Valuation is only moderate due to the P/E level and no dividend yield data, while the latest earnings call was broadly positive but tempered by production challenges and lower-end production guidance.
