Amigo Holdings PLC ( (GB:AMGO) ) has shared an announcement.
Amigo Resources PLC has completed a phased exploration programme at its Mojimoto Project in Tanzania’s Lake Victoria goldfield, using micro-seismic surveys, AI-assisted subsurface modelling, geochemical soil sampling and trenching to identify nine primary mining licence areas with encouraging gold and pathfinder element anomalies. Preliminary sampling of tailings from nearby artisanal operations also indicates residual gold, underscoring potential both for primary exploration and re-treatment of historic material.
The company’s Tanzanian subsidiary has begun engaging PML holders to formalise agreements that will enable a structured drilling campaign aimed at testing priority gold targets and supporting future resource delineation and technical evaluation. In parallel, Amigo is advancing plans for a pilot gold processing plant to treat tailings and previously mined material, integrate proprietary gravity-based concentration technology and generate early operational data and revenue, positioning Mojimoto as a potential integrated exploration, development and processing hub, subject to further technical validation and regulatory approvals.
