Amex Exploration ( (TSE:AMX) ) just unveiled an update.
Amex Exploration has secured key Quebec governmental permits and completed the required financial guarantee to advance a 40,000-tonne underground bulk sample at its Perron gold project near Normétal. With these approvals, the company can move into the execution phase, aiming to start field work in April and portal construction in early summer 2026, with much of the new infrastructure expected to support future Phase 1 production.
The company has already ordered long-lead items such as a water treatment plant and electrical components for a dedicated Hydro-Québec power line, launched major tenders for portal construction and mining contracts, and begun hiring to build its operational team. Recent grade control drilling results, which align with the project’s resource block model, help reduce execution risk ahead of bulk sampling and support Amex’s plan to publish a Phase 1 feasibility study based on a toll milling scenario in the coming weeks.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:AMX) stock is a Buy with a C$6.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Amex Exploration stock, see the TSE:AMX Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on AMX Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, AMX is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue, widening losses, and negative free cash flow) partly offset by a strong debt-free balance sheet. Technicals are a positive contributor due to a strong uptrend, though momentum looks overbought. Valuation is constrained by ongoing losses and no dividend support.
