Amex Exploration ( (TSE:AMX) ) just unveiled an update.
Amex Exploration Inc. has entered into an option agreement to acquire a 100% interest in 216 unpatented mining claims across the Noseworthy, Newman and Hepburn townships in Ontario, covering about 11,600 hectares. The Newman property includes multiple historical gold and copper showings, with several highly anomalous gold results from past overburden drilling that were never systematically followed up.
The Hepburn property expands and complements Amex’s existing Perron West land package by securing control of the Chicobi Fault, a key regional structure that separates metasediments from volcanic rocks and is considered prospective for new high-grade gold zones. Under the deal, Amex will pay $104,000 in staged cash payments, issue 250,000 common shares and grant a net smelter return royalty, while final ownership and transfer of the properties remain subject to staged payments, regulatory approvals and other customary closing conditions.
The most recent analyst rating on (TSE:AMX) stock is a Buy with a C$6.50 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Amex Exploration stock, see the TSE:AMX Stock Forecast page.
Spark’s Take on TSE:AMX Stock
According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:AMX is a Neutral.
The score is driven primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue, widening losses, and negative free cash flow) partly offset by a strong debt-free balance sheet. Technicals are a positive contributor due to a strong uptrend, though momentum looks overbought. Valuation is constrained by ongoing losses and no dividend support.
