An update from Amex Exploration ( (TSE:AMX) ) is now available.

Amex Exploration has launched the permitting and preparatory work for a dedicated 25 kV Hydro-Québec power line to its Perron Project, mandating Abitibi-based contractor Moreau to handle planning, engineering and regulatory support for the 6.5 km connection from the Normétal substation. The grid tie-in, targeted for commissioning in the third quarter of 2026 pending permits, is expected to reduce diesel dependence, cut greenhouse gas emissions and enhance operational reliability, while bolstering the technical and economic parameters of the ongoing Phase 1 toll-milling feasibility work and reinforcing the long-term viability and environmental positioning of the Perron Project.

Spark’s Take on TSE:AMX Stock

According to Spark, TipRanks’ AI Analyst, TSE:AMX is a Neutral.

The score is driven primarily by weak financial performance (pre-revenue, widening losses, and negative free cash flow) partly offset by a strong debt-free balance sheet. Technicals are a positive contributor due to a strong uptrend, though momentum looks overbought. Valuation is constrained by ongoing losses and no dividend support.
