Americas Gold and Silver Corporation reported a solid start to Q1-2024 with a silver production of 0.48 million ounces and has appointed industry veteran Jim Currie as the new Chief Operating Officer. The company is also gearing up for an expected increase in silver production at the Galena Complex and has begun financing for its EC120 silver-copper project, anticipating production to begin in early 2025. The new developments and Currie’s expertise are anticipated to boost both production and profitability in the face of rising silver and copper prices.
