The latest announcement is out from Demesne Resources Ltd. ( (TSE:TUNG) ).
American Tungsten Corp. has begun drilling on the Zero level of the IMA Mine in Idaho and now has a second drill rig operating alongside ongoing work on the upper D level. The company has rehabilitated about 325 feet of the Zero level, established a new drill station, and designed an initial nine-hole, 3,800-foot program targeting the main IMA vein and a parallel vein system, with further exploratory holes planned at depth.
A second drill station farther along the Zero level is slated for up to 10,000 feet of drilling in 15 holes to test continuity of historical tungsten intercepts and broader tungsten-molybdenum zones identified by past operators. These efforts build on more than 4,200 feet of drilling completed on the D level since December 2025 and represent a significant ramp-up of underground exploration as the company evaluates the mine’s potential to return to commercial production.
