Trigg Mining Ltd. ( (AU:AT4) ) has issued an announcement.
American Tungsten & Antimony Ltd has responded to an ASX query over the visual estimation methods used in reporting drill results from its Antimony Canyon Project in the U.S. The company detailed how on-site geologists logged core, visually estimated sulphide content and mineral abundances, and then provided this information to its Competent Person, who consented to the disclosures under the JORC Code and ASX Listing Rules.
Subsequent assay results showed that intervals initially logged as massive to semi-massive stibnite were in fact dominated by fine-grained pyrite, underscoring the difficulty of visually distinguishing sulphide phases in this particular stratiform hydrothermal system. American Tungsten & Antimony said this led to an overestimation of stibnite in earlier visual logs but maintained that directors had a reasonable basis for the original estimates at the time, highlighting the complex geology and confirming that later drilling still supports the broader stibnite mineralisation model at Antimony Canyon.
The most recent analyst rating on (AU:AT4) stock is a Hold with a A$0.10 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Trigg Mining Ltd. stock, see the AU:AT4 Stock Forecast page.
More about Trigg Mining Ltd.
American Tungsten & Antimony Ltd is an Australian-listed resources company focused on exploration of metallic deposits, with a particular emphasis on antimony and related sulphide mineralisation in the U.S. Its flagship Antimony Canyon Project hosts a large-scale stratiform hydrothermal system, where stibnite mineralisation occurs within calcareous volcanic tuffs and hydrothermal breccias, differentiating it from conventional Western antimony vein deposits.
The company works with external geological consultants and Competent Persons under the JORC Code and ASX Listing Rules to interpret drill core, estimate mineral abundances and report exploration results, positioning itself as an early-stage explorer seeking to define high-grade stibnite mineralisation in a complex sulphide system.
