American Software Leadership Shake-Up and Strategic Transition

American Software (AMSWA) has released an update.

Mr. James C. Edenfield retired from his roles as Executive Chairman, Director, and Treasurer of American Software, Inc., effective immediately, with no disputes prompting his departure. To fill the gaps, the Board reduced its size and appointed Mr. James B. Miller, Jr. as the new Chairman, compensating him with an additional $50,000 annually. Mr. Vince Klinges stepped up as Treasurer while maintaining his CFO responsibilities. Despite leaving his executive positions, Mr. Edenfield will continue as a strategic consultant to ensure a smooth transition and provide ongoing advice to the Board.
