American Equity Investment Life (AEL) just unveiled an update.

Axel André, the Executive Vice President and CFO of American Equity Investment Life Holding Company, plans to resign on May 10, 2024, following the successful completion of the company’s merger with Brookfield Reinsurance Ltd. This move is in line with his rights under a pre-existing agreement crafted for such changes in the company’s control.
