Bank of Georgia Group Plc ( (GB:BGEO) ) has issued an update.

Lion Finance Group’s Armenian subsidiary Ameriabank CJSC has completed a domestic placement of USD 50 million perpetual subordinated callable Additional Tier 1 capital notes, carrying an 8.5% semi‑annual coupon and a USD 10,000 denomination, with a minimum investment of five notes. The issue, Ameriabank’s inaugural AT1 transaction, was fully subscribed well ahead of the planned end of the offering period, and the notes are expected to list on the Armenia Securities Exchange.

Management said the strong demand underscores investor confidence in Ameriabank’s credit quality, balance‑sheet discipline and local wealth‑management and distribution capabilities. By boosting capital adequacy ratios and creating additional capital buffers, the AT1 issue enhances the bank’s flexibility to pursue its growth strategy as the largest lender in Armenia, supporting Lion Finance Group’s broader expansion objectives in the region.

The most recent analyst rating on (GB:BGEO) stock is a Buy with a £10700.00 price target. To see the full list of analyst forecasts on Bank of Georgia Group Plc stock, see the GB:BGEO Stock Forecast page.
