Amaroq Ltd., a company involved in mineral exploration, has announced the discovery of high concentrations of Rare Earth Elements (REE) within its Nunarsuit license area in South Greenland. This marks a significant step in Amaroq’s strategy to expand into the rare and critical minerals sector. The discovery was made in the Ilua pegmatite area, where samples showed up to 2.31% total rare earth oxides (TREO). The Gardar region, where Nunarsuit is located, is known to host a significant portion of the world’s REE resources. Amaroq plans further exploration and drilling in 2026 to assess the extent and economic potential of these findings, which could create substantial value for shareholders and strengthen the company’s position in the growing global demand for rare earth elements.
