Alumina Limited has announced the Federal Court of Australia’s approval of its acquisition by Alcoa Corporation’s subsidiary through a scheme of arrangement. Share trading of Alumina will be suspended from 23 July 2024, as the arrangement is set to become legally effective following regulatory filings. Eligible Alumina shareholders are slated to receive new Alcoa CDIs as part of the Scheme Consideration on 1 August 2024.
