ALTEN, a global engineering and IT services leader, is in exclusive talks to acquire Worldgrid from Atos, enhancing its position in the energy sector, especially in nuclear services. Worldgrid, known for its expertise in the European energy market, would bolster ALTEN’s offerings with its 1,100 employees and strong client relationships in key regions. The acquisition, pending customary conditions, is slated for completion by the end of 2024, promising a valuable expansion of services to strategic clients.
