Altamin Limited has unveiled a maiden Mineral Resource Estimate for its Lazio Geothermal Lithium Project, showcasing a new lithium resource of over 2 million tonnes and a substantial sulphate of potash resource exceeding 320 million tonnes. The project’s geothermal resources also suggest a potential for 140 to 350 MWe of recoverable electrical energy, which could lead to a low carbon footprint for future extraction processes. This development marks Italy’s first-ever lithium resource, derived from historical data analysis and modern testing, and is poised to significantly contribute to the country’s sustainable energy landscape.
