AltaGas Ltd. has reported a robust start to 2024 with a 15% year-over-year increase in normalized earnings per share (EPS) and a record first quarter of liquefied petroleum gas exports to Asia, underlining its strong midstream execution and strategic advancements. Despite a slight dip in GAAP EPS, the company saw a significant rise in normalized earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) from both its Utilities and Midstream segments, driven by solid performance and strategic growth projects. The company’s midstream growth continues with the development of the Pipestone II expansion project and the Ridley Island Energy Export Facility.
