Almaden Minerals Shifts to International Arbitration

Almaden Minerals (TSE:AMM) has released an update.

Almaden Minerals Ltd. is set to initiate international arbitration against Mexico under the CPTPP after unsuccessful consultations over its investment dispute. The company has decided to withdraw all pending lawsuits in Mexican courts to focus on seeking damages estimated at no less than $200 million. This arbitration will be conducted through the International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID).
