Almaden Minerals Seeks $200M in Mexico Arbitration

Almaden Minerals (TSE:AMM) has released an update.

Almaden Minerals Ltd. has initiated international arbitration against Mexico, seeking damages of at least $200 million over alleged breaches of the CPTPP that affected its Ixtaca project. The proceedings follow unsuccessful consultations and are now moving forward with the representation of international arbitration counsel. Shareholders will be updated as the arbitration process involving Almaden and its subsidiary, Almadex Minerals Ltd., progresses.
