Alma Metals Limited Chess Depository Interests repr 1 Shs ( (AU:ALM) ) just unveiled an announcement.

Alma Metals has reported final assays from its 2025 drilling program at the Briggs copper project in Queensland, confirming very thick and higher-grade mineralised intersections than the current resource average and highlighting the project’s scale as a major undeveloped copper asset in Australia. The company has now commenced a substantial infill and exploration drilling campaign aimed at upgrading and expanding the Mineral Resource Estimate to support upcoming pre-feasibility studies, while advancing environmental baseline work and metallurgical test programs, and it enters this phase with $5.8 million in cash and liquid investments and increased on-market share purchases by directors, underlining confidence in the project’s long-term potential.

These latest drilling results include the longest mineralised intersection recorded to date at Briggs and one of the highest-grade near-surface copper intervals, which may extend the depth of the Indicated resource and enhance the potential for a higher-grade starter pit. With a current resource containing about 2 million tonnes of copper metal across Indicated and Inferred categories and a new 45-hole program underway to convert Inferred to Indicated resources and test extensional targets, Alma Metals is working to de-risk the project and advance it toward development within a supportive copper market backdrop.
