Alicanto Minerals ( (AU:AQI) ) has provided an announcement.

Alicanto Minerals has strengthened its executive team with the appointment of experienced mining finance executive Graeme Pettit as Chief Financial Officer, as it advances growth plans for the Mt Henry Gold Project in Western Australia. Pettit, a Chartered Accountant with nearly 20 years’ experience across ASX-listed and private equity-backed miners, previously played a key role in major funding initiatives at Liontown Resources and brings deep expertise in corporate finance, project development and operational readiness.

The new CFO, who replaces long-serving executive Susan Field and is expected to join before 30 June 2026, arrives as Alicanto runs its largest-ever drilling program at Mt Henry, where initial assay results are due in the coming weeks. Management says the calibre of the hire underscores growing momentum and the scale of the opportunity at Mt Henry, signalling a focus on building scalable finance functions and supporting capital allocation as the company pursues resource expansion and broader district-scale upside.
