Alara Resources Limited has announced that its joint venture in Oman is set to ship its second batch of copper concentrate, approximately 1200 wet metric tonnes, to China by June 24th. This follows the initial shipment last month which included 156 metric tonnes of copper and 6 kilograms of gold. Meanwhile, the company is addressing challenges with its tailing filter press by implementing mechanical modifications and evaluating proposals for an additional unit.
