Aker Capital Expands Stake in Solstad Maritime

American Shipping Company ASA (ASCJF) has released an update.

Aker Capital AS, associated with AMSC ASA board member Frank Ove Reite, has subscribed for 5,095,519 shares in Solstad Maritime Holding AS at NOK 11.82 per share, resulting in Aker Capital’s ownership of 13,701,416 shares in AMSC and 195,450,849 shares in SMH, with additional exposure through swap agreements and direct ownership by Frank Ove Reite and AMSC ASA in SMH.
