Aker BP ASA ( (GB:0M5J) ) has shared an update.
Aker BP reported strong fourth-quarter 2025 results, with net production averaging 411 mboepd, 96 percent production efficiency, and total income of USD 2.6 billion supporting operating cash flow of USD 1.6 billion. The company maintained low costs and emissions while paying a quarterly dividend of USD 0.63 per share, bringing full-year payouts to USD 2.52 per share.
Operationally, all major field development projects advanced on schedule, including Yggdrasil, Valhall PWP-Fenris, Johan Sverdrup Phase 3 and the Skarv Satellites, reinforcing plans to lift output to around 525 mboepd in 2028 and sustain more than 500 mboepd into the 2030s. Exploration was a key growth driver, with Aker BP participating in the three largest discoveries on the Norwegian Continental Shelf in 2025 and adding over 100 million barrels of resources, while a costlier but enlarged Valhall PWP-Fenris programme and expanded use of digital tools and supplier alliances underline its push for long-term scale and efficiency.
For 2026, management guided production of 370-400 mboepd, capital spending of USD 6.2-6.7 billion and production costs around USD 8 per barrel, alongside exploration expenses of roughly USD 400 million and abandonment outlays of about USD 100 million. The board approved a 5 percent dividend increase to USD 0.6615 per share per quarter, signaling confidence in cash generation as Aker BP deepens its development pipeline and seeks to shape the next generation of Norwegian offshore projects through digitalisation and alliance-based execution.
