Aker BP Initiates Production at Low-Emission Tyrving Field

Aker BP ASA has commenced oil production at the Tyrving field in the Alvheim area, which is expected to enhance output and reduce both expenses and CO2 emissions per barrel. With an estimated 25 million barrels of oil equivalent recoverable resources, Tyrving is notable for its low-emission operations, estimated at 0.3 kg of CO2 per barrel. The development includes three wells and two new subsea installations, utilizing existing infrastructure to optimize production.
