Aker BioMarine has expanded its share capital through an employee share purchase program, offering new shares at NOK 83.01 each to staff in the company and its Norwegian subsidiaries. The program is aimed at boosting ownership alignment, with several senior executives and board members participating and increasing their individual holdings.

CEO Matts Johansen, key business unit heads, the VP Finance, the General Counsel, and two board directors subscribed for new shares, with Johansen now controlling more than 1.1 million shares.
